Here’s an update from LAist on last week’s fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man named Leroy Barnes by Pasadena police officers. We happened by about an hour after it happened and have never seen so many police vehicles in one place before. Drove by again yesterday (the site is just off Washington near Lincoln, part of our regular route) and saw a whole lot of flowers collecting at the site. Sounds like an investigation will be going on for a while.
