Imagine a unique retreat in a lighthouse off the French coast in Brittany. I'm not talking about any ordinary lighthouse, but the legendary lighthouse on the island of Louët, near Carantec, that's steeped in history and folklore.
Rich History and Vibrant Legend
The lighthouse and the accompanying house have a rich cultural background. The house served as the lighthouse keeper's residence until 1960. This place is not just a building, but a witness to countless stories of maritime adventure.
A Unique Stay
Today, the renovated lighthouse keeper's house is open to guests. The stay is available from April to October and the house can comfortably accommodate up to ten people. This unique vacation spot does come with a fair share of adventure. Although electricity is supplied from the mainland, guests are required to bring their own drinking water, bedsheets, pillowcases, and sleeping bags.

You will need a personal watercraft to access the island. Alternatively, you can book a return trip with the local sailing school for a fee of 131 euros.
