Immerse yourself in a story of rapid transformation. An unremarkable, cramped kitchenette located in a Paris apartment has recently undergone a drastic makeover in just 48 hours, emerging as a stylish, functional space.
Situated in the 11th arrondissement, the compact 43 square meter apartment was previously equipped with a kitchen that left much to be desired. It lacked both style and functionality, presenting more of a challenge than a convenience to the inhabitants.
Enter Michaël Gonçalves from Alto Minho Gonçalves, a company nestled in the serene town of Saint-Leu-la-Forêt in Île-de-France. With a firm eye on the budget, Gonçalves took the task at hand, promising to deliver a breathtaking transformation within 48 hours.
And deliver, he did. The uninspiring, shiny white facades, mini-oven, and the black and white tiled wall were swiftly replaced with high closed storage units. This pivotal change not only facilitated better circulation but also allowed much-needed room for storage.
The refrigerator, once a noticeable appliance, now sits neatly hidden behind a custom-built white cabinet. This strategic modification has provided the kitchen with a more harmonious and visually pleasing look.
In less than two days, the once drab space transformed into an inviting, multifunctional area. The updated kitchen now exudes an aura of modernity and warmth, boasting an appealing design that marries practicality with style.
Adding to the ambiance, the makeover incorporated an array of carefully chosen décor elements. This included fresh flowers and the addition of plates and cups from Studio San. A green ‘Coco' lamp from Mickaël Koska Design brightened up the space, alongside a beautifully designed vase by Lucile Boudier and a basket from Brutal Ceramics by Solenne Belloir.
The renovation also ushered in an assortment of quality appliances. A sleek toaster and blender from Smeg, a collaboration coffee machine from Nespresso and Chiara Ferragni, not to forget the chic household linen from Gabrielle Paris, all found a new home in this transformed kitchen, adding to its character and charm.
