Stephen Hawking at Caltech

Jan 12, 2011

The great man in the wheelchair is returning to his home away from home at Caltech for a month, as he does each year, and while he’s here he’s giving a free lecture called “My Brief History.” Professor Hawking‘s talk is intended for regular folks—no need to have a doctorate in quantum physics to understand him—and we repeat, it’s completely free. You don’t even need to make reservations: just show up. One of the greatest minds of the modern era continues to live with increasingly debilitating ALS, so we should all hear him speak (or rather hear his computer speak the words he commands) while we can.
