Lacy Park will be the location for San Marino’s 100th Birthday celebration. An “old-fashioned” picnic will be followed by train and pony rides, jugglers, a balloon artist, a photo booth, and more.

Of course, a day of fun would not be the same without cotton candy, kettle corn, and barbecue, which will be available in abundance. San Marino’s own Tony’s Pizza is also on the menu.

Contests will include the traditional sack race, water balloon toss, as well as hula hoop and pie-eating contests.

The official listing of events:

11:15 a.m.: Introductions and welcomes
11:30 a.m.: San Marino High School
Varsity Yell
Varsity Song
Dance Company
Comedy Sportz
Drum Line
Speech & Debate Team

A community photograph will be taken at approximately 1 p.m. and is open for all San Marino residents. This will be followed by a martial arts demonstration by Shao-Lin Kung Fu, the community games, and finally a rendition of “Happy Birthday”…and cake!
