Are you going to the 124th Tournament of Roses parade or do you avoid Old Pasadena like the plague? Do you still enjoy watching the parade on television or do you tape it so you can fast forward through the three-hour telecast?
Do you have any plans to see the floats up close and personal or are pictures not even necessary? By the way, this year’s theme is “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” (Many happy returns to Dr. Seuss.)
If you still would like to attend: Rose Parade Tickets, Tuesday, Jan. 1st, start time 8 a.m.
Vistor Hotline: 877.793.9911
Tournament of Roses office: 626.449.4100
Viewing of floats after the parade: A Showcase of Floats. Tuesday, Jan. 1st, 1-5 p.m. & Wednesday, Jan. 2nd, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
And, what about football? The 99th Rose Bowl game will be played on the 1st with pre-game festivities beginning at 1:30 p.m. and kickoff at 2:10 p.m. between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Stanford Cardinals. The Badgers are champions of the Big Ten Conference and Stanford has been ranked 6th by the BCS. The game is sold out, but perhaps via HerFan2Fan Ticket Exchange you could find some seats. Or else, the game will be televised on ESPN.
Happy New Year!
