Union Station may have more volunteers than it needs this year for staffing its famed Thanksgiving in the Park meal for the homeless and poor of the San Gabriel Valley, but it doesn’t have enough food. While you’re doing your final shopping before turkey time, please consider adding a couple of things from their wish list and dropping them off at the Raymond Avenue location by Wednesday evening. At this writing, they still needed more pumpkin pies, cranberry sauce, mixed greens, dinner rolls and paper goods; to see what’s on the up-to-the-minute needs list, click here.

The hungry nomad has teamed up with Lara Yeretsian of Yeretsian law in Glendale and with her offices generous donation and ours we would like to donate its truck food and hot coffee and tea. Call the Nomad at 877-Nomad-10 to coordinate the details. Thank you
That’s very generous, but you’ll have to call Union Station to offer your help. They may not see this post. We are just the reporters!
How does one contact Union Station???!!! they have a an on-line form at th end of the list & say someone will call you, but if one has to wait…
You may be “just the reporters,” but next time, give the contact info!
Just go to their website, linked above. Sorry we didn’t post the phone number– next time we will.
