The Theatre @ Boston Court is looking for high school students excited about theater.
The guidelines are simple: “Any unsold seat will be made available free of charge 5 minutes prior to the performance to any high school student who presents a current student ID.”
Cool, huh?
The production in question is The Children, by Michael Elyanow and directed by Jessica Kubzansky.
The premise: “What if a character from Medea wrested the children away from their mother’s murderous intent, accidentally transporting them to present-day Maine in the middle of a hurricane?”
Yikes.
The play is further described as a “Rubik’s cube of comedy, passion and pain.”
How perfect for teenagers whose lives consist of daily doses of laughter, undulating emotions, and drama. Now, for a month, they can ride a roller coaster not their own, and ride for free. For young theater lovers, this is a deal not to be missed.
The Theatre @ Boston Court: The Children
