How quickly time flies. It’s been a year since Pasadena’s first Restaurant Week, or 1,095 meals ago (3 meals a day x 365 days).
This year, the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has brought in even more restaurants and revamped their website so it’s easier to find your favorite cuisine, stay close to home or spread your wings, and to remain within a certain price point or go for broke. You can also vote for your favorite(s) on the site and enter a drawing to win a dinner, receive a discount, or a gift certificate.
Dinners will be three courses ranging in price from $26 – $44, while lunches will have two courses and step from $15, $20, to $25. Participating restauarants include El Portal, Malbec‘s Argentinian cuisine, Green Street Restaurant, Toro Sushi, Vertical Wine, and 1810. Newcomers will represented by Haven Gastropub, Roxolana, and The StillRoom.
“We are seeing a lot of enthusiasm from our restaurateurs who are excited to be able to showcase their extraordinary menus for regulars and new visitors during Pasadena Restaurant Week at the end of March,” says Paul Little, president and chief executive officer of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
Since 1888, the Chamber’s main mission has been to stimulate businesses and “enhance the quality of life” in Pasadena. So, put on your walking shoes or take an extra lap running around the Rose Bowl, because with over 40 restaurants participating, you have about two weeks to get in shape for five solid days of testing, tasting, savoring, and relishing.
