Renditions of masterpieces, abstract compositions, portraiture, movie images, 3D effects, and animation can be found, seen, enjoyed, and admired at Pasadena’s Chalk Festival this weekend, June 15th-16th, at Paseo Colorado.
Five hundred artists from all over Southern California will create 200 murals in pastel chalk—the pavement as their canvas.
Children can make art and have their face painted at Kid’s Chalkland and classic cars will be showcased along Green Street on Father’s Day Sunday. El Cholo Cantina will have tacos and chilled drinks to purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Light Bringer Project.
An art gallery and silent auction will showcase 200 original paintings created by the artists, promoted as “affordable art”!
