Al Gore & Katrina Kenison

Feb 4, 2013

gore_al2Al Gore is too big for his britches.

The discussion and signing of his new book The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change can’t fit in Vroman’s upstairs nook, so the event on Sunday, February 10th, shall be held at the Pasadena Civic Center.

On a smaller, but just as inspiring scale, Katrina Kenison will be discussing and signing her Magical Journey: An Apprenticeship in Contentment (in case you missed her earlier event at LCP Church). Her book is described as being “for every woman whose children are grown up, but who is not done growing herself.”

A complete aside, but while looking up the Civic Center, we noticed that Carolyn Kennedy will be speaking February 13th, Dr. Louise Leakey on March 3rd, former Sectretary of Defense Robert Gates on April 17th, and interestingly, replacing Lance Armstrong will be Michael Phelps on May 20th.
