The Bard, Shaw & Dickens

Aug 2, 2012

A rendering of ANW’s new home.

Innocence and jealousy in Shakespeare’s Cymbeline. Upholding the Hippocratic oath or directly linking a client’s treatment to one’s personal gain as in The Doctor’s Dilemma by George Bernard Shaw. Finally, an atrophied heart regenerated to feel compassion in A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

These three plays are on the fall 2012 schedule at A Noise Within where single seat tickets are now on sale.

Their spring 2013 schedule will include The Grapes of Wrath, Eurydice (based on the Greek Orpheus myth), and The Beaux’ Stratagem by George Farquhar.

If you haven’t experienced a performance at ANW’s new home on Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena, it is well worth it. The actors who comprise their resident company are very strong and realistic; the interpretation and direction of their productions quite engaging.

Tickets range from $36 to $52; the lowest prices are for preview performances.
