The Pied Piper of Hamelin from Parson’s Nose

Apr 15, 2010

Parson’s Nose — what a great name for a theater company! Fortunately for Pasadena, Parson’s Nose is more than a great name. Its stated mission is to introduce “classic theater to family audiences,” through original one-hour adaptations of dramatic masterpieces. These staged readings (not performances) are designed to be both smart enough for grownups and boisterous enough for kids. The next show is a musical interpretation of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, that shockingly morbid fairy tale in which a slighted musician leads all the village children to their death. Catch this good old-fashioned family fun — and all the Parson’s Nose productions — at Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters.
