If your middle-school-age daughter is having a hard time dealing with friend dynamics, then the two of you might want to check out the Be R.E.A.L (Relationships- Extraordinary, Authentic and Loving) workshops put on by the Institute for Girls Development. The interactive series, which will run for four weeks at Vroman’s, strives to provide girls with tools to navigate the intricacies of friendship and give parents what they need to support their daughters throughout these challenging years. Help your daughters boost their confidence and deal with cliques while you connect with other parents and caretakers and learn how to encourage positive, healthy friendships.
