In a town where roses consistently occupy a place as the most popular flower, home gardeners may be surprised to find that the upkeep of these beauties is more difficult than might be expected. What better place to learn to make your rose garden as thriving and beautiful as it should be in the Rose City than at Huntington Gardens?
Home to row upon row of perfect blooms, the Huntington sets the rose standard, and it just so happens that it is offering a workshop for everyday gardeners. Taught by Rose and Perennial Garden curator Clair Martin, the class will be held from 9-10:30 am on Saturday January 8th in the garden. The focus will be on the tools and essential techniques of rose pruning. The workshop costs $30 for Huntington members and $40 for non-members.
