From the designer of Snow White’s favorite dwarves’ cottage to Spanish Colonial Revivals, the Glendale Historical Society 2012 Home Tour focuses on the “golden age” of the 1920s and 1930s.

Five homes and the courtyard of a 1927 Storybook Style home are on the 2.5 mile tour (docent-led) route, which is easily accessible from downtown Glendale. One of the homes is a 1927 Spanish Colonial designed by Ben Sherwood who also designed the so-called “Snow White Cottages” in Los Feliz. Three other Spanish Colonials built in 1928 and 1930 will be on the tour, as well a 1931 Tudor Revival.
