Garfield Heights' Gilmore House was built in 1891 and designed by Roehrig and Locke.

To get yourself good and warmed up for the coming Craftsman Heritage Festival, take an hour or two this Sunday afternoon to explore several historic houses in Pasadena’s landmark Garfield Heights neighborhood. Occupying the zone between Marengo, Los Robles, Mountain and Washington, the neighborhood is rich in architectural treasures, including houses designed by Sylvanus Marston and Arthur Benton.

The association has not yet revealed this year’s houses, but they’re always worth exploring. And the funds raised go to help keep the neighborhood beautiful.
