Union Station Foundation

union station folks 300x197 Union Station Foundation volunteer Union Station shelter Pasadena homeless children photoUnion Station serves Pasadena’s homeless, providing food, shelter, counseling, job-seeking help and much more. It runs several facilities, including the Adult Center on Raymond near Central Park; the Family Center, which serves homeless children and their parents; and Euclid Villa, a transitional facility for families striving to achieve stability. It always has a pressing need for volunteers, especially to help cook meals; lots of locals help with the Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner-in-the-Park events. But it’s easy to forget about the homeless in that long stretch between New Year’s and the following Thanksgiving, so consider a food or financial contribution in the off-season.
