TSG has already pledged $1,000 (which will provide 4,000 meals) to their “Take Out Hunger” drive.
For Thanksgiving, The Spot Gourmet offers a traditional menu as well as a gluten-free and a vegan menu. Dinners can be purchased for under $20 per person and can be delivered.
For each order, the customer will be entered into the Golden Turkey Giveaway raffle with the winner receiving a free Thanksgiving dinner “displayed in gold wrapping and decorations.”
Some of the items on The Spot Gourmet menu are homemade cranberry chutney; butternut squash, mushroom, and spinach lasagna (vegan); garnet yams with bourbon, brown sugar, and butter; mixed green salad with pomegranate seeds, dried cranberries, candied pecans, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette; and pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread pudding, ginger cream cookies, or gluten free flourless cake with crème Anglaise and berry puree.
Since 2006, Patty Fallahee and Sidney Burgess have joined their taste in the culinary arts and catering expertise to put on weddings, galas, premieres, holiday parties, and corporate events. Last month, they catered lunch for the Alliance for Housing and Healing, Aid for AIDS Benefit fundraiser. They create everything from box lunches to private dinners, and have worked for the Tournament of Roses, the City of Glendale, and Disney. In 2011, they received the Best of Glendale U.S. Commerce Association’s Award.
All orders must be placed by Monday, November 19th.
