Local Photographer Gives to Japan

Mar 24, 2011

Pasadena photographer John Nelson has family in Japan, and his memories of visiting them and his ties to the people there have inspired him to take action. So he is selling prints from his image archives and donating all the proceeds to relief efforts.

Nelson says, “All of my visits there were always marked by warm, welcoming and helpful people, and not just from my family and friends. Since the earthquake, feeling rather helpless, but wanting to do something, I am donating proceeds from print sales.” He has information about his efforts and how you can purchase a print on his blog.
