Want to see the world’s largest blossoming plant? One that weighs 250 tons? It’s one of the seven horticultural wonders of the world, so the answer should be a definitive YES. Come on over to Sierra Madre this weekend for the annual Wistaria Festival. The historic vine will be in full bloom, ready to be adored. In addition to wisteria worshipers, there’s music, local food and over one hundred artisans selling their wares. This is the place to be. For more wistaria history, facts, probably spelling errors – we’ve been spelling it “wisteria” our whole lives and we might be wrong – and an informational video, visit the festival’s website.
Sunday, March 15
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.
