As you may or may not know, last November was supposed to be the inaugural run of the Pasadena Marathon. Unfortunately, the whole event was delayed indefinitely due to smoke from the horrendous fires that engulfed ours neighbors. Now, after a few months of extra planning, the marathon is proudly taking place on March 22.
There are a variety of ways to participate, including the traditional marathon, a bike tour, and a community “run/walk,” the low-key way to join in – probably what some of us will be doing. Registration can be found here. If you don’t feel up to running but want to participate, you can also volunteer here.
Note: Even if you do not plan on joining in, make sure to check out the route for the day so you don’t get stuck in traffic or confused when you look out the window and see a thousand people run by. Just a thought.
Sunday, March 22
Events begin around 6:00 a.m. Check your race to see your starting time.
We will post the route closer to the date.
