Photo Exhibit at Jones Coffee

What do three physicians, an architect, a retired labor organizer, a retired manufacturer, a filmmaker, a scientist and a converted potter all have in common? They’re the members of a “ƒ8 Pasadena,” a salon of deeply committed photographers who, for three years, have been meeting every week to hang out and talk about photography. Their first group show goes up today, Monday, at their preferred meeting place: Jones Coffee Roasters. On display for a month, the show features one photograph from each of the nine salon members. At right is founder Bill Wishner’s contribution. I could tell you what the other photos are of, but really, that wouldn’t be any fun. A picture’s worth a thousand blog posts.
