Once again honing her already prodigious skills at the Coffee Gallery is Phoebe Bridgers. A Sequoyah alum and freshman at LACHSA, this budding singer/songwriter has played acoustic folk all over town: at the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival, the Folk Music Center in Claremont, the Echo Back Porch and, of course, the Coffee Gallery.
Joining her will be Robert Harmon, an industry veteran and longtime guitar player, as well as the He-Men, not to be confused with He-Man of Masters of the Universe fame, which is worth watching if only to see Frank Langella slumming as Skeletor. These He-Men are Zack Bilson, Ari Huber, Jeremy Corren and Shade Tramp (what a name!); they appear regularly with Phoebe as a rock group (and in class, we’re guessing), but will unplug when she tells them to. Let’s hear it for the striplings!
