If you’re much of a geek, chances are you already know who Olivia Munn is. Because, you know, she’s a goddess. For geeks. For everyone else, she’s the woman from that TV station you flip through occasionally, the G4 Network. As of a month ago, she’s also a correspondent for The Daily Show (upgrade!), and she’ll be starring in an upcoming NBC series, Perfect Couples. And there’s that book thing, which she’ll be signing at Vroman’s this Saturday. Decorously titled Suck It, Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek, it’s a collection of essays about… stuff. Like the inevitable robot invasion, being a geek in Hollywood, and banana cream pie. Eclectic! Olivia is known for signing anything and everything fans bring to events, so get creative.
Elsewhere in geekdom, the “real” Wonder Woman finally gets a new costume (Diana Prince is now… a hipster!). Coincidence, or shrewd marketing decision? Coincidence, probably.
