Looking to try a new trick-or-treat route this year? Tired of your kids getting all the goodies? The Old Pasadena Halloween celebration beckons. From 4 to 7 p.m. on Halloween, some 75 Old Town establishments will be participating in store-to-store trick-or-treating: free candy for costumed youth and discounts for the grownups, probably in the form of coupons. The celebration is also offering free photos for dressed-up kids in the One Colorado courtyard. Apparently there will also be pumpkins.
Old Pasadena Management and One Colorado are putting on the event in conjunction with Old Town Haunt, a haunted house in the basement of the Union Savings Bank Building, one of the oldest structures in Old Town. The Haunt is open to the public from now until November 1st, but will no doubt be at its scariest on Halloween night.
