… coming soon to a Vroman’s near you! Yes indeed—documentary filmmaker and historical author Sidney Kirkpatrick will be discussing and signing his latest (deep breath): Hitler’s Holy Relics: A True Story of Nazi Plunder and the Race to Recover the Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire. Whew. At minimum, the book is an account of the research of Walter Horn, an art historian employed by the Army who investigated the Nazi’s looting of priceless antiquities and the connection to Germanic mysticism and Hitler’s occultism. At maximum, it is the gripping, true story, told in cinematic detail, of an art historian turned Army sleuth who recovered the looted jewels of the Holy Roman Empire before they could be used to usher in the Fourth Reich—i.e., what happens when Dan Brown and Bryan Singer have a baby. The Illuminati are probably involved somehow, but you’ll have to show up to find out for sure.
