Vroman’s kicks off National Poetry Month with a group reading. At the event we will hear from four fantastic women writers. Collete LaBouff Atikinson will be reading from her debut, Mean. Marcia Arrieta presents her newly published work, An Uncommon Accord. Carine Topal shares from her third collection, In the Heaven of Never Before. Finally, Kim Triedman, winner of the 2008 Main Street Rag Chapbook Competition, will read from her first collection, bathe in it or sleep. These acclaimed poets will get us in the mood to settle down with some verse. Be sure to check out Vroman’s poetry section if you are so inspired and pick up something unusual in honor of the month.
