It’s time, once again, for the L.A. Garden Show, and the subtitle, A Festival of Flavors, says it all: Come and explore the wonderful world of edible plants! Focusing on those that can be easily grown in your own garden, this year’s theme offers something for every garden — whether that garden is in pots, on a balcony, in a backyard or spans several acres. You’ll find displays by Southern California landscape architects and lectures on organic and sustainable gardening practices, along with food, entertainment and gardening activities for kids. Here’s your chance to keep up with the Obamas and start your own practical vegetable garden.
Friday, May 1 – Sunday, May 3
9 – 4:30 p.m. (8 a.m. early admissions for Arboretum members)
The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, 301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia
