This weekend brings the release of Celebrating with Julienne, the cookbook by longtime San Marino restaurateur and caterer Sue Campoy, who passed away in March. The richly photographed book makes its debut at a signing by Sue’s four daughters — Cynthia, Julie (Sue’s partner in running Julienne), Jennifer and Lesley — on the Julienne patio this Saturday, May 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Can’t make it? Not to worry, the sisters will be back for a just-in-time-for-Mother’s-Day signing on Saturday, May 9th, also from 11 to 2.
As per Sue’s request, the book will not be sold at the big chain stores, but you’ll have no trouble finding it at such independent stores as Vroman’s, Once Upon a Time, San Marino Toy & Book, Flintridge Bookstore, Motif, Botanicals, Jones Coffee, Marz, Little Flower Candy Co., Joan’s on Third, Salutations and Nicole’s Gourmet Foods. If you can’t get to a store, just call us at Prospect Park Books (626.793.9796) and we’ll ship you a copy. (Full disclosure: Hometown Pasadena publisher Prospect Park is the distributor for Celebrating with Julienne, and publisher Colleen Dunn Bates helped Sue write the book.)
