The latest edition of the acclaimed literary quarterly Granta focuses on Pakistan, and in honor of this issue, Pasadena’s Pacific Asia Museum is hosting a free event: an interview and discussion with Granta editor John Freeman. He’ll talk about the the culture and literature of Pakistan, and the writers, poets and artists featured in the issue, which has a spectacular cover. Also appearing at the event is L.A. writer Kamran Pasha, who will be signing his books, Shadow of the Swords: An Epic Novel of the Crusades and Mother of the Believers: A Novel of the Birth of Islam.
