David Plouffe

David Plouffe

David Plouffe: former campaign-manager to the King of America, and something of a king in his own right. The man Obama called “the unsung hero of this campaign” in his acceptance speech has been pretty well sung since then. And pretty well paid, too, including a reported seven-figure book deal for the just-published The Audacity to Win: The Inside Story and Lessons of Barack Obama’s Historic Victory.

The book is going to be hot stuff for many reasons, chief among them being Plouffe’s job as architect of the first truly great 21st century campaign — possibly the best political campaign in American history. And he’s coming to Pasadena to talk about it! It’s a Vroman’s event but is being held at All Saints Church because the guy is just that big a deal. A must-see if you’re interested in politics at all.
