There are fifteen women showing from all over the world at the Fremont Gallery’s upcoming exhibition, “Fifteen Graces,” but we’re partial to the work of Mount Washington’s own Connie Rohman, a fiber artist who uses traditional methods and materials (hand-dyed fabrics, quilts, etc) to explore abstract shape, line, and color. She’s very talented.
The exhibition is inspired by the Three Graces of Greek Mythology, goddesses of charm, beauty, and creativity, and comes round in time to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day, first celebrated in March of 1911 in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland.
