Chalk Action

Published: Thursday, June 18th, 2009

This Father’s Day weekend brings the return of the Pasadena Chalk Festival to the Paseo. On Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., some 600 artists (from all over Southern California and even the nation) will be filling almost every inch of the Paseo’s concrete promenades and open spaces with vivid chalked murals. Tour the work in progress, go see a movie and have a meal, and when you return, you’re likely to see a finished chalk masterpiece.
