This summer a coalition of Pasadena restaurants joined with the Visitors Bureau to do a promotion called Bring Your Own Wine Wednesdays, and it was such a hit that it’s still going on. The participating restaurants waive corkage fees on Wednesdays, and they promise not to look askance if you bring that $3.99 bargain you just found at Trader Joe’s.
