Boston Court is, by now, in our minds, a beloved Pasadena Institution. They do good, important work. And they know how to throw a party. They’re throwing one this Saturday, for instance: Backstage Bacchanalia @ Boston Court. It’s in their parking lot, which is spacious and pretty nice as far as parking lots go, and that’s before they’ve even dressed it up, which surely they will. Backstage Bacchanalia is, in fact, a fundraiser, so the ticket price is a little steep–$75–but that includes hors d’oeuvres from Noir and wine from Noir, The Wine Detective, Monopole, and San Antonio Wineries. “Event support” (?) is being provided by Silver Birches. There’ll also be live music and, as befits a performing arts center, a “few theatrical flourishes.” Check it out.
