Border Radio is an acoustic bluegrass/folk outfit that’s been stomping around Los Angeles off and on since the year 2000. They reunited just last year after a hiatus of many moons to play the one and only Coffee Gallery, and then sadly had their holiday spectacular there cancelled due to Altadena’s notorious wind-related power outage. But the power’s back on, and they’re wasting no time, playing a make-up show this Friday. Come sample their their take on the “happy sad music” of Americana. They may or may not have a new CD that could make an excellent belated Christmas gift for the folk fan in your life. You may want to get your tickets now—Border Radio are hometown (and Hometown) favorites.
