Maybe the photography workshop at the PMH isn’t for you—you don’t like cameras, think they are idolatrous. Maybe you like to make images with your hands, holding brushes or charcoal or pens or pencils. Maybe, then, this Friday’s drawing class at the Norton Simon with José Antonio Aguirre is more your style. It has a cool concept: participants will pick a work from the printmaking exhibit, Proof, and do an interpretation that is rendered somehow as “opposite,” e.g. turn a black and white image into a color one. Mr. Aguirre will also speak about the museum’s considerable holdings. Sounds like fun. Online registration is required.
