This year the Wisconsin Badger’s will face off against the Stanford Cardinal’s for the Tournament of Roses Champions title. BUT another show down is brewing between Badger and Cardinal fans – and it involves something almost as sacred as their teams – their signature tailgate dishes.
Will Badgers brats and cheese curds win out over the signature Cardinal tailgate favorite? Will the winning dish have any bearing on the game? Only time will tell.

Caterbid.com says that besides bratwurst—”Wisconsin’s Soul Food”—grilled with onions and mustard, and cheese curds (really?), Badger fans like to eat chicken wings. Whether it’s bratwurst or chicken salad, congratulations to the Badgers and Cardinals for reaching the Rose Bowl Championship. Here’s to an exciting football game, laughs and mannerly craziness, and well-fed stomachs with satisfied appetites.
