It could not have a blander interior, but the warmth of the people and the quality of the food make up for it. (Besides, we usually take out.) Besides delicious kebabs (the lamb is excellent), falafel and a tasty, smoky baba ganoush, we like such harder-to-find specialties as foul (a ground mixture of fava and garbanzo beans with spices and olive oil), barbecued quail and marinated frogs’ legs. As an accompaniment, you can choose traditional tabbouleh or cabbage slaw, and you are gifted with an entire bag of pita with your takeout order.
