Eat & Drink To Your Heart’s Delight

Their pitch: “Pay Once = Eat + Drink Your Heart Out.” We think “to your heart’s delight” sounds more enjoyable, like you may actually walk away with a smile (though a full tummy and, maybe, a slightly fuzzy head).

How much? General admission is $45 (5-9 p.m.); early admission VIP ticket (3-4:30 p.m.), $65

What? Over 100 food trucks, carts, restaurants, and chefs will be offering up their tasty treats. Kogi BBQ, Fuji Foods, Inc., Gravy Train Poutinerie, and Border Grill are only several of the 20 food trucks that will be on hand, while World Empanadas, bling bling dumpling, and Seoul Sausage Company are examples of the street carts that will be providing fare to the hungry hordes. Also scheduled are many restaurants like Roku, Fat Spoon, Dog Haus, and Lazy Ox Canteen. On the sweet side, you’ll be able to taste a French toast doughnut from Astro’s Donuts, fried chicken and waffles ice cream with a maple flapjack cookie from Coolhaus, or Chinese honey candy from Dragons Whisker Candy.

Chef Neal Fraser will be behind his “cart for a cause” serving cornflake crusted pied de cochon, black truffled aioli and frisee. Food & Wine Best New Chefs Ricardo Zarate and Bryant Ng will oversee “L.A. Food & Wine Booths.”

To wet the palate, there will be “watering holes” serving Singha beer, Korean rice wine, Crusoe organic rum, eleven different kinds of tequila, and wine tasting from Cèpage wines, as well as non-alcoholic drinks like Coba Aquas Fresca and Honest Tea. Single Origin will be on hand for coffee lovers and Jack FM and DJ Bianca will be providing the musical ambience.

There are 5,000 tickets available for general admission, and 1,500 VIP tickets.
