DineLA, Pasadena-Style

Oct 7, 2010

You could be here, at Arroyo Chop House, having oysters, a petite filet and a fudge brownie sundae for $44.

Yes folks, it’s time once again for Dine LA Restaurant Week, which grows bigger and more successful every year—and which always includes some excellent Pasadena-area venues. This year’s runs this week and next, excluding Saturdays—October 3 – 8 and 10 – 15—and is rich with good restaurants offering prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus that are often bargains for the quality.

Here’s the link to the main web site, which lists what appears to be a couple of hundred participants across the greater L.A. area. Here are most of the local deals:

Budget (3-course lunch $16, 3-course dinner $26)
La Grande Orange, Café 140 South, Yujean Kang’s, Café Bizou, Green Street Restaurant, POP Champagne

Mid-range (3-course lunch $22, 3-course dinner $34)
Redwhite+bluezz, Celestino, Vertical Wine Bistro, Il Fornaio, Palate, Smitty’s, Cheval Blanc, Hot Stuff Café, Katsuya Glendale, Marston’s, Roy’s, Sushi Roku, the Raymond

High-end (3-course lunch $28, 3-course dinner $44)
Arroyo Chop House, Bashan, Noir Food & Wine, Maison Akira, Parkway Grill
