Is there a limit to how much good pinot one can sniff, swirl, and sip? Not likely.

Get your palates primed and ready to judge balance, complexity, body, and flavors because there will be 200 pinot noirs to taste from 100 California and Oregon wineries, including Ampelos, Clary Ranch, Clos Pepe, Dragonette, Hitching Post, Zovitch Cellars, and Marimar Torres at Noir Food & Wine’s 6th Annual Pasadena PinotFest on February 9th (tickets on sale now).

Several of the wines to be presented are exclusive to PinotFest and all wines are available for purchase (‘natch) at prices they say will be lower than most “tasting room” wines.

While your sipping your way into Pinot heaven, you can fortify your constitution with “top-notch nosh” by Noir Food & Wine and Altadena Town & Country Club.

To get the wine flowing, a “Kickoff Tasting” will be held on Saturday, January 26th for only $29.00 at Noir Food & Wine and if you want to go all the way, a kick-off dinner with wines selected by wine collector David Lee and Wine Director Mike Farwell and victuals by Chef Claud Beltran and Jaqueline Huynh, will be held Saturday, February 2nd, though that date is tentative (price below).

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services, which is one of the largest providers of mental health services in Los Angeles County.
