How do people in East Los Angeles know Christmas is around the corner? It’s when an enormous, artificial Christmas tree begins to be assembled in the parking lot of the King Taco at Ford and Third streets in what has become an East L.A. holiday tradition. The tree, which started to take shape about two weeks ago, usually stays up into the new year and can be seen from the Metro Gold Line Maravilla Station.
