This Changes Everything

Published: Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Former Altadena/La Canada/Pasadena locals David King and Julie Carnahan (they got around!) now live in Madison, Wisconsin. They both worked in film production but left it behind in search of a simpler life and a lower cost of living in a smart, if cold, town. The good news is that they’re as creative as ever, even if they’re no longer making a living in the business. Last year their ultra-short film To Be Okay won the 48 Hour Film Project in Madison, and they just finished making this new film, This Changes Everything, for this year’s 48 Hour Film Project, which is now an international competition. The score is by Altadena composer James Raymond, and the boy in the film is their youngest son, Charlie King.
