The Great California Shake-out earthquake drill is over, and locally the most visible sign was the schools responding as they should by evacuating the classrooms at 10:15. We made a few stops:
Taking the headcount at Loma Alta Elementary School.
Safely sitting in place at Altadena Elementary (where staff refused to let us get any closer than the public sidewalk, hence the artistic "through the fence" view);
Evacuated students gathering at Eliot Middle School.
