Altadena Library is looking for artists

Call to artists
“SHARE YOUR ART with THE COMMUNITY”
 
The Altadena Library District is seeking artists of all mediums to display artwork in our Community Room. All experience levels, individual artists, and collaborative teams are welcome.
 
Security/Anti-theft devices are available for framed artwork.
 
A secured display case is also available for smaller pieces, sculptures, collections, etc.
 

Application process:

    •    Available months for display: September – December 2009.
 
    •    Submit an application and photos of your work to the Community Room Reservation Office, using one of the options below.

    •    The Altadena Library District reserves the right to decide what is appropriate for display in the presence of minors. The Library reserves the right to reject any part of the exhibit or to change the manner of display.
 
    •    Artists are chosen on a first come first serve basis.
 
    •    A waiver of liability will be required from each artist, which also includes a list of works for sale, including the value/cost. Pieces sold during the exhibit are to be marked by the artist.
