For the remaining 3 Wednesdays of August, Paseo Colorado is hosting Summer ArtVenture with arts, crafts and music.
This Wednesday, August 15th, 2-4 p.m. the Pacific Asia Museum will have a story time, “lion dance” masks to try on, and they will bring all the materials so kids can design a kimono and make dragon puppets.
The Pasadena Museum of History comes next week on the 22nd (same time). Kids will be able to choose from various period clothing and have their picture taken, make their own Pasadena postcard, and be able to explore local history through old photos and memorabilia that tell the story of our area’s development.
The final Wednesday, August 29th, brings the Pasadena Symphony & Pops where kids will learn about the vast multitude of instruments that make up a symphony orchestra, and even get a chance to play some.
