Jun 17, 2015

drought-617x416-1Assemblymember Chris Holden, in partner ship with Kidspace Museum, is leading a community meeting about conserving water and learning ways “to outsmart the drought.”

Live demonstrations and practical advice will be available from JPL’s Chief Earth Scientist Dr. Duane Waliser, Chief Deputy Director Caren Trgovcich of the California State Water Resources Control Board, and a representative of the DWP.

Drought-tolerant plants may be viewed, as well as exhibits on water conservation programs. Information on household rebate programs will be provided and there will be interactive workshops for elementary age students on water conservation.

Refreshments provided, though bring your water bottle!
