Bart Edelman Reads from The Geographer’s Wife at Vroman’s

May 1, 2012
Shameless plug alert: in another life (i.e. during the day), yours truly works for a certain independent literary publishing house that just so happens to be the publisher of the book referenced in the title of this here event listing. Don’t think of it as a shameless plug, though. Think of it as the sharing of first hand knowledge of a wonderful poet (Bart Edelman) with a gorgeous new collection (The Geographer’s Wife). That yours truly happened to be around when Mr. Edelman was christened, for reasons we won’t go into presently, “Single Barrel Bart,” ought to inspire confidence in this recommendation. What recommendation? Oh, right: Bart Edelman will be reading from his new book, The Geographer’s Wife, at Vroman’s this Saturday afternoon, before Cinco de Mayo gets too crazy. You should go.
